Despite her multi-faceted career as an international model, wardrobe style and assistant to the stars, it was Stef Hammitt’s mother, a weaver, who ignited her passion for design.  A lifetime of watching her muse spin raw materials into artwork moved this Southern Californian beach girl to follow a similar path.

In her twenties, Stef’s fondness for high fashion let her to reside in London, model throughout Europe and land a successful career as a wardrobe stylist in her hometown of Los Angeles.  She would later work alongside her father, a successful businessman, where her strong entrepreneurial spirit gained momentum.  In 2003, life experience and divine inspiration became interwoven and Hammitt Los Angeles was born.
